El Moll d'en Rebaix

Something typical of the Barceloneta neighbourhood is the 'cors', groups that meet up once a year to shout loads. At the Moll d'en Rebaix, they seem to meet up every Friday, some 35 men sitting and standing around drinking beer and eating fish, snails or 'la variada', which is a typically Barceloneta combo plate with anchovies, squid and prawns for a tenner, and which the owner Paco whips up himself. The place is full of photos of Marilyn Monroe and sayings hanging on the walls such as "They should open only bars in order to help customers close wounds and feel that every morning means forgetting every day."
