Time Out says

Don Chufo, Nitsa, BeCool ... and now, El Cinco. This space in Plaça de Joan Llongueras has reinvented itself to give Sant Gervasi just what it needed. Totally renovated, with an interior design that's perfectly balanced between elegance and modernity, El Cinco now has two parts to it. Upstairs you can relax in the magnificent restaurant headed up by Chef José Armenteros: the 'ensaimada' pastries with parmesan and spicy 'sobrasada' sausage, the red salad, and the scallops with pig's trotters cannot be missed. The daily set lunch menu is also top-notch.

But what really gets us going is the basement. Javier Veloso, manager and artistic director, introduces me to this club/cocktail bar where I could spend the rest of my life; a lush club (with sofas and vinyl records on the walls) that features dance and urban music and with a class sound system and areas for every mood: you can dance, chill out, talk, laugh...

The best thing is that the club also boasts one of the most attractive bars in Barcelona. Eric Bertran mixes the highest-quality cocktails right in the thick of the action. I get a drink with tequila, citrus and spice that zaps the life back into me. DJs Viktor Ollé and Quim Campbell are in charge of spinning the soundtrack and they tell me they're planning a hip hop party with Flavio Rodríguez for Sundays. A true temple in Sant Gervasi.
