Turning coffee roasting into an artform is at the heart of Café de Indias. The origins of this business can be traced back to Cafés Garriga, founded in 1850 as a small establishment in the old town of Barcelona, where they roasted and sold coffee, and customers could also enjoy it on the spot. In the early twentieth century, Cafés Garriga became a meeting point for avant-garde artists and a hub for cultural and political discussions.
Today, they still use the artisanal roasting formula established in 1850, aiming to create an exquisite selection of natural coffees with a unique combination of flavour, body, and aroma in every cup. Their coffee beans come from the high mountains of Jamaica and Colombia, where some of the best coffees in the world are produced. You can find them at Café de Indias in the Time Out Market.
