Finished in 1893, this mansion isn’t as big as the other famous houses Lluís Domènech i Montaner designed, but it by no means falls short of the beauty created by the Modernista movement. Unlike the other buildings of the Modernisme movement, Palacio Ramón Montaner was originally designed by Josep Domènech i Estapà and in the later years taken over by Domènech i Montaner. The top two floors feature the modernista style and blend with the bottom two floors designed in an Italian style. The intricate mosaic panels on the outside of the house give a glimpse into the beauty on the inside that is the grand staircase.
