Time Out says

La Casa de la Barceloneta 1761 is a municipal facility dedicated to recovering the neighbourhood's historical and collective memory: the labour movement, anti-fascism, struggles for gender equality, mobilizations to achieve democracy, and neighbourhood movements, in addition to valuing the heritage of Barceloneta, from its popular culture to architectural and artistic expressions.

The building itself, unlike almost all the houses in Barceloneta, has managed to keep its original interior volume during the 19th and 20th centuries despite changes in its design and decor. It is the last example of an original building with a facade on three streets. By maintaining it, visitors can see and understand the original architectural heritage of the 18th century in Barceloneta.
