Time Out says

Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the death of artist Xavier Gosé, one of the internationally best-known Catalan artists of the 20th century, the MNAC and the Museu d'Art Jaume Morera are putting on an anthological exhibition of his work. Gosé's oeuvre has been defined as something between modernisme and art deco, and he drew insipration from everyday life of café concerts, midinettes, prostitutes, people in the street, scenes at horse races, athletes, and in Montmartre. His refined and elegant style perfectly captured the fashion and faces of French society. This exhibition is part of those in the museum that recall great Catalan artists, which was kicked off by Josep Tapiró and Carles Casegemas.
