Women artists today

International Women's Day is March 8, and to celebrate, the MEAM (European Museum of Modern Art) presents a collective exhibition of Spanish women artists, painters and sculptors who show the best of what's being created today in the field of contemporary figurative art. The MEAM has made a selection from current notable works to present the latest pieces the artists have created and are in the process of creating in the fine arts. The exhibition includes works by 26 paintors and 12 sculptors, all of them of the highest quality. Among them is a piece that's never been exhibited before by Lita Cabellut (‘Disturbance 23’), on loan especially for this exhibition.
