In an era of minimalism, it's worth taking a fresh look at the work Mladen Stilinović produced in the '90s: the Serbian artist dyed all his household objects white as silent and poetic reaction during the Balkan War. Out of that came the series 'White Absence' and 'Skin'. Plays on words and their connections with politics and everyday life characterise the work of the artist who features in the opening season of the Nogueras Blanchard gallery in its new space in L'Hospitalet.
