Tristan Perich's work combines visual arts and music, and in both camps he struggles to make the interplay of logic code and sensory impression both visible and audible. Lying between the simplicity of mathematical order and the complexity of the organic world, his drawings and sound installations make the process of their own realisation visible and audible. The piece called 'Octave' is included in this exhibition in collaboration with the Auditori's Sampler Series cycle. The Machine Drawings are shown for the first time in Spain. This is the first individual exhibition in Spain for the artist, who in 2013 was selected for 'Soundings', the first major exhibition at his native New York's MoMA on sound art and where works by the most innovative contemporary artists working with sound were exhibited.
