Tove Andresen presents a group of artworks associated with the idea of La La Land, the real idea of love and colours – artworks that reflect some forms of love in a global world, based on common desire to do what we love, like ice cubes that are connected in a shaped structure in which hot air circulates. Once there's movement of air, we experience the phenomenon of 'ice break' or 'love'. Ice break can also happen when we walk on fragile ice cubes. Like fragile ideas of love and dreams. When it's thin enough, air bubbles or air flowers pop up underneath the ice and turn into orange. A new expression of vitality and energy. Andresen exhibits and has exhibited widely in the USA and most of western Europe: Italy, France, England, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Portugal and Holland, and mostly in her native Denmark.
