Tolkyn Sakbayeva. Kaleidoscope

This young artist from Kazakhstan, who was born with cerebral palsy, has used art as a form of communication since she was a small child. After she moved to Barcelona in 2013, Tolkyn Sakbayeva was invited to be a resident artist at the Espronceda gallery for fie months. The result of this intensive period of work is this exhibition, which shows off the artist's joy with life. Her close relationship with art is genuine. Sakbayeva interprets works by her influences from among the impressionists and cubists, making them her own and sharing her emotions through them.
