Manolo Garcia. Temporada d'òpera

Since 1990, the Friends of the Liceu publish a new edition of the book ‘Temporada d'Ópera’ ('Opera Season') in collaboration with different artists, and the aim of renewing the iconography of opera. This year’s collaborative artist is musician and painter Manolo García, whose illustrations are now on display at the Sala Parés. Taking advantage of different art forms like photography, drawing, painting and sculpting, García constructs an impulse-driven aesthetic discourse.
