Fifth Al-Tiba9 Barcelona 2017

The Arab International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, Al-Tiba9, brought to you by Arab curators from Algeria, Mo’ Mohamed Benhadj and Mazia Djab, kicks off in Barcelona on June 10 before continuing to MAMA Modern & Contemporary Art Museum of Algiers in September. This fifth edition is a live exhibition, with artworks on view from the fields of site-specific installation, sculpture, photography, paintings, video and Net art, and performance and digital art; selected works will be performed live during the Opening Ceremony. Participating artists come from Algeria, Spain, France, Morroco, Italy, Germany, Russia, the USA, Iran, Mexico, Norway, Kurdistan, Australia, the UK and Finland. You'll also enjoy a cocktail bar by Landucci Art Café, experimental jazz from Brooklyn NY, and digital music.
