Time Out says

After having immortalized such celebrities as Donatella Versace, Marina Abramovic, Bianca Jagger, Wim Wenders and many others, Italian photographer Enzo Dal Verme captures the silence that lies behind the social mask of unknown but equally charismatic personalities in the exhibition 'Ritratti In Silenzio' ('Silent Portraits'). This is an exhibition of images with a simple approach, a face and a gesture, as in the paintings of the Italian portrait tradition that have fascinated the photographer during his studies of art history. For example, portraits of 16th-century artist Giovan Battista Moroni, best known for his ability to be faithful to his models, including their physical imperfections, through introspective research – hence the intensity and stillness that characterise the looks.
