This year, W After Dark has grand plans to reimagine ballroom culture. To give you a heads up, ballroom culture or the ballroom scene was an underground subculture originated by the black LGBTQ community in New York in the late ’80s.
At this year’s ball-inspired W After Dark party, there will be shows by drag queens as well as dance performances by local voguers (you’re more than welcome to join them on the floor). DJs Taki and Noah will fly all the way from Japan to amp up the vibes.
