Updates on free public transport, road and river closures during the royal cremation ceremonies

Announcement on how to get to Sanam Luang to witness the royal funeral ceremonies of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and getting around town

Although the five-day royal funeral will strictly be for royal family members and their guests, government officials and staffers, you can still witness parts of the ceremonies from designated areas around the funeral grounds. These are the public transports that offer you a ride from a stop near you to Sanam Luang.

Accessible areas to witness the ceremony

The public is permitted to witness the royal funeral ceremonies from these five areas. Registration opens on 25 Oct, 05:00
