The year has only just started and already Bangkok is buzzing with excitement for upcoming concerts. After a tough time recently for the live music scene, 2025 is shaping up to be a much more thrilling year for music lovers.

Green Day is making a long-awaited return after 14 years away, while Maroon 5 are back after their 2022 gig. K-pop fans can rejoice as 2NE1 comes to the Big Mango as part of their reunion tour, and newcomers Cigarettes After Sex and Keshi are finally bringing their sounds to the city. These are just a handful of the incredible shows happening this year, so if you’ve been craving live music, now’s the time to book your tickets.

The band bring their dreamy, ethereal sound to Thailand this January touring their third album, X’s. Founded in 2008 by Greg Gonzalez, the American dream pop band has built a devoted following despite only releasing three albums to date. Fans can expect to hear haunting favourites like Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby, Cry and the title track from their latest record. Their atmospheric tunes are sure to deliver the perfect soundtrack, though don't be surprised if you leave feeling like you've just drifted through a cloud of smoke and nostalgia. Jan 21. After an eight-year break, 2NE1 are finally making their grand return to Bangkok for two nights of K-pop magic. Known for their fierce stage presence, the legendary four-member group will be performing iconic hits such as Fire and I Don’t Care as part of their Welcome Back Asia Tour. It takes them to cities including Jakarta, Manila, Singapore and Hong Kong, with Bangkok marking one of the final stops. The American pop-rock band is making their long-awaited return to Bangkok this February after more than two years away. As part of their GRAMMY-winning Asia tour, the six-piece group will perform a mix of classic hits from their 30-year career, including Sugar, Girls Like You, One More Night and Memories. The tour kicks off in Manila before heading to Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Kaohsiung. The last time they played in the City of Angels during their 2022 World Tour, they filled the Rajamangala Stadium. Time to get ready for a night of rebellious fun as Green Day return after 14 years. The American punk rock legends will bring their high-energy show to the city in February. With nearly 40 years in the game, Green Day have won five Grammys, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and even had a Broadway musical based on their American Idiot album. Keshi, the smooth-voiced heartthrob, brings his soulful sound to Bangkok as part of his Requiem tour. Already on his second album, the American R&B and indie artist has quickly become a rising star. You can expect live renditions of fan favourites like Less of You, Limbo, Drink and Beside You. As part of his 35-city tour, which spans North America, Europe and Asia, Keshi will also be performing at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Chase Center in San Francisco. If you're an indie music fan at heart you’ll love that Glass Animals are coming to town. Led by the effortlessly cool Dave Bayley, the band has been delivering memorable tunes for over a decade. They first gained widespread attention with their platinum track Gooey from the Zaba album. More recently, Heat Waves took over TikTok and made them the first British band to top the Spotify Global Chart. After touring the U.S. and the U.K., the English indie rockers are now heading to Bangkok. With four albums and multiple award nominations under their belt – including Brit Awards and Grammy nods –this is one gig you don’t want to miss. Kylie Minogue has dropped a bombshell with the announcement of her upcoming seventeenth studio album, Tension II, and alongside it, the much-anticipated Tension Tour. This is her biggest tour in years, and lucky for us, Bangkok is one of the four Asian stops on the itinerary. Expect to hear tracks from her 2023 album Tension, including catchy numbers like Padam Padam, Hold On to Now, and Things We Do For Love. Of course, Kylie wouldn't leave without treating us to timeless hits like Can't Get You Out of My Head, In Your Eyes and Love at First Sight. Norwegian pop duo Marion Raven and Marit Larsen are set to bring a slice of early 2000s nostalgia to Bangkok this May. After 22 years apart, they’re reuniting for their first (and probably last) outing, The Better Endings Tour. Expect to hear classic hits, including Pretty Boy, The Day You Went Away, Mirror Mirror, Don’t Say You Love Me and Everything You Do. The pair have been teasing a comeback for a while and their Instagram reel last month confirmed Thailand as one of their tour stops. So, if you’re ready for a dose of 90s pop magic, grab your tickets – it’s a one-night-only chance to relive those golden hits. May 9. B2,500-5,500 via here.
