It’s already August, which means the rain and stormy days are upon us. Most of us use this as an excuse to laze around in our PJs at home and stay inactive. But if even a tiny part of you wants to get out and do something, we’ve handpicked a few fun and adrenaline-pumping activities that you can do indoors.

If you feel like working on your arm strength, come to Golden Axe Throw Club. Here you get the chance to heave an unlimited number of axes (B500/person/hour) at a wooden target. Opt for the private lane, which can hold up to seven-plus players, if you’re coming as a big group. Throwers are all required to wear protective gear, and can avail of the services of an instructor.

Have you seen Hollywood films where people rollerblade happily in the park, and wished you could do that too? Unfortunately, Bangkok’s roads are often bumpy and full of cracks. But you don’t have to rollerblade on the street to get your thrill on. Roller Dome Thailand, the biggest indoor roller skate rink in Southeast Asia, offers skating access for a really cheap price (B50/hour and B100/day). Rates come with skate rental and 15 minutes of basic training from the staff.

Bounce offers pressure-free workouts that help you loosen up, destress and reconnect with your active self. The venue is big, and there’s no equipment required. All you need to do is walk in and jump on a humongous trampoline. There are other zones for you to try such as Big Bag, Slam Dunk, The Wall, and The Zone for junior jumpers.

Nowhere else beats Huamark skate park when it comes to size. Both beginner and advanced skaters come here and flex their skills. The community is very friendly and helpful, and newbies can just come watch and learn skills from pro skaters. The vibe is as street as it gets, with the sport itself plus all the graffiti on the walls.
