Entrepreneurial trio—Vittawin Kongkrengkrai, Phonphob Pisitivitayanon and Naronglit Jitsupab—has taken over the underground level of Novotel Siam Square Hotel, which housed the once-famous dance club Concept CM2, and turned it into Bangkok's newest laser tag battlefield, Siam Laser Games.
The LED-lit venue features four different themes—ocean, forest, lava and castle—and can accommodate a maximum of 56 players. Each game runs for 25 minutes and follows one simple rule: shoot your enemies down (with made-in-Russia LED guns) before they can shoot you. You get 20 points each time you successfully “hit” an enemy but lose five points when you get gunned down—it’s as easy as that.
The game is not actually a duel between your group and another. The staff can also team up your group of friends with another group to create a bigger team. The bigger, the better—and more fun too. You can also come in as a freeman player.
