On 16 Feb, Giuseppe Nicolis, the noted Italian winemaker and owner of Nicolis winery, teams up with Il Fumo’s (0 2286 8833) head chef Nelson Amorim to serve a five-course wine-pairing set menu (B2,900) that highlights the taste of Valpolicella, the city in Verona where Nicolis winery is located. Dishes served include crab and avocado tartare with green leaves and citrus dressing, Challans duck breast with juniper and Jerusalem artichoke and charcoal-grilled octopus with Taggiasca olives and potato cream.
