Thais are welcome to travel to the Grand Palace to pay respects to their beloved king at Sahathai Samakhon Hall. From 29 October, the Royal Court will grant the public access to the Dusit Throne Hall in the Grand Palace to pay respects to the royal urn. During the mourning period, some roads around the Grand Palace are blocked while parking will be limited. To offer more convenience to those coming from different parts of Bangkok, the government, army, BMA as well as private section organizes free shuttle service to and from the royal funeral.
