Earlier this month, Charley Browns, one of Bangkok’s longest-standing Mexican restaurants (opened circa 1992) was devastated by a fire due to electrical issues. Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the fire did cause extensive damage to the restaurant, which had to shut down.
To this end, the restaurant's good friends David Jacobson (Smalls' owner) and Danny Yeung (Smalls' bar manager) are hosting a fundraising event in collaboration Smalls, where they hope to raise money and “ease some of the financial burden thrust upon Charley Browns’ management and staff.”
The fundraiser will be held on December 26 at Smalls from 18:00 onwards, with fun games, live Mexican music, lots of margaritas, as well as delectable fare by El Hefe to be expected. A 10 percent discount will also be offered on all drinks. Entrance is priced at B300 per person.
Reservations can be made via this link, or visit this Facebook Event link for more information.
