This year, the best Christmas trees in the city combine creativity with sustainability. By using upcycled and repurposed materials, these trees truly inspire.
Like last year and the year before, Siam Discovery has put up a tree that reflects its sustainability initiative. Its 2022 “green-hearted Christmas tree” is made of hundreds of repurposed PET bottles tied together in the shape of a giant Smiley, the iconic figure that’s at the center of OneSiam’s holiday theme.
The Langsuan establishment has teamed up with artist Saruta “Pin” Kiatparkpoom to create a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree made of repurposed metal and in a shape inspired by the traditional Thai homecoming ritual Bai Sri.
We always admire the creativity Capella puts into making its Christmas tree. This year, the hotel has created a Christmas tree out of paddy leaves and wild grass. The minimalist tree, which sits on a mirroring pond, compliments Capella’s Chinoiserie-style lobby and the art hanging on its walls.
