Bangkok Book Festival 2021 is back for the third time in the capital with the second part dubbed "The Magic of Paper: Keep Your Spirits" throughout this December with four sub-events in various venues.
First up is Safe & Sound Gallery, an exhibition at the Jam Factory that sees a horde of artists showcasing their artworks that freely express their standpoints. The exhibition is open on December 6-20 (11:00-20:00).
Next, Book Zoo Exhibition will be held between December 11-22 at Goethe-Institute's library. Come and explore the history of publishing and books. The exhibition opens from Monday to Thursday (09:30-18:00) and from Saturday to Sunday (08:00-15:00).
There's also the screening of José e Pilar (2010), a Portuguese documentary about the lives Nobel-winning author José Saramago and his wife Pilar del Río, and Alone in Berlin (2016), a German film based on the novel titled Every Man Dies that follows the true story of a working-class husband and wife Otto and Elise Hampel who became part of the German Resistance.
