For one week only (5-12 August), Baagadin head chef Thitid Tassanakajohn and Iron Chef judge Richard Blais join hands to break away from Thai-Western clichés with their new awed creations, fusing ingredients that are at odds (sticky rice and cream cheese anyone?) but become a perfect combination on the plate. Promising to give you a mouthgasm are expertly cooked tenderloin with long bean and cowslip, and Thitid’s creation of seared scallop on Massaman Curry. Giving you the last (yet good) impression is the combination of sticky rice accompanied by smoked California cream cheese and rambutan.
