Art Ground aims to build a community that focuses on the arts in all areas by creating an open space for both Thai and visiting artists to display their work in all dimensions. For some people, art is everywhere. Everything around you can be art, from the bedroom, the corridor, the lawn, the clothesline, the warehouse, or the gallery. We love the art that is common in all of our breaths.
This year there will be 6 zones:
• ZONE 1: ART NOW
Gallery space presenting the work of well-known artists who have previously worked with the Jam Factory Magazine or with the gallery.
• ZONE 2: ART FOUND
This two-tiered scaffolding area is the heart of the event, presenting the work of over 40 new young artists.
• ZONE 3: ART SOUND
Enjoy chill music in the lawn area. Like previous events, the event also welcomes a band from Japan.
• ZONE 4: ART POW (POWER OF ART)
New for this year, the plain wood flooring of the old courtyard will be changed to an open space for people to create art by themselves and with other artists.
• ZONE 5: ART HOW
This area allows participants to try their hand at creating their own art that they can bring back home at special guided Craft Workshops.
• ZONE 6: ART WOW
Welcome to the Chao Phraya River Art Show area where you’ll be amazed with the variety of artistic performances engaging your eyes and ears.
