Niwat Manatpiyalert’s debut solo exhibition explores Thailand’s sugarcane and sugar industries through a multi-media exhibition that’s based on more than two years of research and documentation. “721,346” refers to the area reserved for sugarcane cultivation in Kanchanaburi, which relies heavily on this industry for its livelihood. Check out a series of installation art, paintings, photographs, and motion pictures created with Chukiat Wongsuwan, and sample beverages made in collaboration with Anupas Premanuwat and Andreas Glöel.
