Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC)

If you’re at either at The St. Regis or Waldorf Astoria and you see a massive golf course and a  racetrack right in front of you, then that’s the Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC). The exclusive sports facility was founded in the early 1900s, and is only open to members of the club. As one of the most exclusive and conservative clubs in Thailand, membership passes on within families only, and cannot be shared or transferred. In rare instances, RBSC would open its doors to new membership, but this requires a number of tiring processes, including acceptance from existing members.
