The Decorum is perhaps 2017’s most talked-about menswear store for two reasons. First, it’s eye-catching box-like structure, created by up-and-coming local design studio POAR, which reminds us of those upscale stores in Tokyo’s Aoyama. Second, it stocks up on a collection of menswear items that you would usually see on dapper Italians parading Florence’s Pitti Uomo. Apart from distributing luxury Japanese shirt brand Kamakura, The Decorum also sells a vast selection of shirts, ties, pants and shoes by various Japanese, South Korean and, yes, Italian brands. A tailor service is available (from B40,000) for fans of made-to-order. Huntsman, a tailor shop from England, sets up a trunk show every month with every intention of dressing up Thailand’s most discerning like a Kingsman agent.
