Sure, they’re beautiful and stylish but designer eyeglasses made by European brands are just not designed for Asians. Rosemanclub fixes this problem by offering carefully designed eyewear that fit the faces and enhance the looks of both Asians and Europeans. The Japanese-made pairs are designed by founders and creative directors Piyawan Eauboonsiri and Passanunt Tarajaruspat, who believe that there is more to cool-looking eyeglasses than black frames. “People come to our store always looking for black,” says Passanut. “But after they try our glasses on, they usually ended up buying colored frames.” She goes on to debunk the old belief that certain pairs only fit a particular face shape. “You really need to try on a pair before making a selection. Some square-shaped pairs actually look good on square faces.”
Apart from their flagship store in Samyan, Rosemanclub also retails in London, Paris and Shanghai. The brand is looking to open a store in Myanmar by the end of the year.
The store has moved to a new location in Soi Sukhumvit 31
