Online food delivery platforms are stepping up during this current lockdown, when we are all urged to stay home, and are offering limited-time deals and promos that make ordering food from your favorite local restaurants much easier.

Take a look at these discounts and special promotions from each delivery platform that are available throughout the month of August.

AirAsia Food

After it acquired the Thailand subsidiary of Gojek, AirAsia scooped up the food partners of the service app into a new platform called AirAsia Food, which is now live but yet to cover the entire of Bangkok. During its trial run, AirAsia Food will only serve orders made in Din Daeng, Lad Phrao, Chatuchak, and Huay Kwang. Deliveries within the first six kilometers are free.

AirAsia Food only has a website and is yet to release a mobile app.

Devers

This new food delivery app is dedicated to delivering food from cloud kitchens across the city, which means you can order as many dishes from different restaurants and get them at the same time. Devers’ list of restaurants is quite limited as of the moment, but  the selection is varied enough to appease most cravings.

Right now, a 15 percent discount is offered to new users, and you get a B100 discount for orders over B400. Moreover, Devers currently offers free delivery until August 31.

foodpanda

Having had to deal with public backlash on social media, Food Panda is trying hard to win back the trust of its users through a number of campaigns that support local food establishments and its riders. Their “supportrider10” code will get you free delivery and an additional B10 tip for food riders on top of their wage. Make sure to regularly check other discount codes on the application as these keep changing over time.

Grab

This popular mobile delivery app allows you to order your favorite dishes from all restaurants in Bangkok, no matter how far! Grab always has plenty of promotions meant to benefit both restaurants and customers.

  • Get a 35% discount up to B250 (up to four times) from GrabMart by using the code “FLASH35” for orders from B500 (available until August 22  in certain areas of Bangkok and limited per day).
  • Skip the commission fee when you opt for “Self Pick-up”, and get a 20 percent  discount by using the code “PICKUP20”. (For more information, visit https://www.grabmerchantth.com/spu.)

LINE MAN

Get free delivery when you order food from nearby restaurants. What’s more, 30 percent  discounts are offered every hour starting from 8:00 in the morning.

LINE MAN has also launched a new feature, which enables you to order fresh ingredients—from fruits and vegetables to seafood and raw meats—from nearby fresh markets. Delivery fees start at B0, and you'll get an additional discount when you enter the code “savemarket”.

Robinhood

This Siam Commercial Bank-backed delivery platform is worth supporting as it does not charge for subscription, nor does it charge commission fees and other additional fees. Even more impressive, the platform is now offering a flat-rate fee of B10 for deliveries within five kilometers.

Because of their amazing deals, users have flooded Robinhood with a huge number of orders, which causes the service to be unresponsive at times. Patience is encouraged when ordering during peak hours.

You

You is a relatively new Japanese food-focused delivery app that primarily serves the needs of Japanese communities in Bangkok and eastern provinces. The app is now available in English and Thai, which means you can browse through the offerings of some of the best Japanese eateries in Asok, Phrom Phong, Thonglor and Ekkamai. You is also growing its lists of international and Thai restaurants.
