Apart from the recently opened Novotel Suites Bangkok, Soi Sukhumvit 34 is now also home to an eatery that any one with a soft spot for all-day brunch is familiar with—good ol’ White Shuffle.
The popular brunch place—the only dining outlet in the hotel—continues to serve an impressive line-up of comfort meals within a welcoming, sunlit space. The focus is on European- and Mediterranean-inspired dishes created by Swiss-born chef Yannick Hollenstein and Thai chef Krisada "Nick" Chintakananda.
Highly recommended are the foie gras beignets (B390) and Wagyu beef French toast (B420). The toast has torch-burned meat that goes really well with black truffle mayo. For something heavier, you have Kurobuta pork tomahawk (B590/250g) or Tajima Wagyu rib eye steak (B1,490/190g), a generously portioned chunk of meat (perfect for sharing) that comes with a sunny side up egg and potato pavé.
White Shuffle also serves all sorts of beverages, from cocktails and mocktails, to tea and coffee, to wine. Try the Shuffle Lojito (B140), a reimagined virgin mojito given a twist with lychee, passion fruit and an infusion of Thai basil. For a truly nostalgic combo, have the chocolate milkshake (B160) with an order of blueberry pancakes (B290).
