Eleven years after it opened, Water Library is one of the most popular names in Bangkok’s food scene. The French fine-dining restaurant has grown in the last decade, and its success has allowed its mother company, the Water Library Hospitality Group, to undertake other culinary endeavors such as Ciao Pizza, Hong Bao, and Moo Pai Kai Ma.
But the original Water Library at Chamchuri remains the group’s flagship outlet and one of its most impressive. Upon stepping into the venue, guests are welcomed by a spectacular bottle display made to resemble a towering bookshelf in an actual library. Surrounding this central feature are tables where guests can take a seat and enjoy an elegant atmosphere and equally magnificent European fare.
Star dishes include the homemade tofu with foie gras sauce, pan-seared Chilean sea bass, cold pasta, and Caesar salad with onsen tamago (hot spring egg).
Water Library Chamchuri recently celebrated its tenth year anniversary. It has certainly been a decade marked by success and well-deserved accolades. Follow Water Library at its official Facebook page to find out how you can take part in the celebrations.
