There’s no place in the city that makes Thai pancakes or “tokyo” as creatively as Tokyo Hot.
The idea for this khanom tokyo shop was born from Na Naphat, Jay Jiraphat, and Jued Adisak, the three artists/owners who are passionate about cooking and aspired to reinterpret this popular street snack. The result is Thai pancakes with unconventional yet delicious fillings like Thai omelet and chili basil (B35) or chicken barbecue with mala sauce (B30). But what’s gotten us all excited is the Tokyo Hot Signature Set (B115), a three-piece dish comprising a taco-inspired tokyo filled with pork and veggies seasoned Mexican-style, a Prawn Tom Yum Tokyo, and a tokyo filled with salted egg.
The trio, however, hasn’t forgotten the sweet essence of this snack. A standout from the desserts menu is the tokyo with pandan custard brownie and salted egg (B45).
The shop recently relocated from Soi Charoenkrung 24 to Soi Charoenkrung 43 (near the Grand Postal Building), and this new location offers an airy space where you can stop, relax and enjoy one—or two—of Tokyo Hot’s scrumptious bites.
