Popular tea shop TE Time and Space has opened a new branch in Samyan Mitrtown.
The shop is known for its tea-blending workshops, a range of teas that mix different Thai herbs, fruits and flowers, and for offering a fun and unique tea experience. Customers can sample different tea blends while exchanging conversation with the friendly and knowledgable tea master or sample Red Apron, a black tea infused with roselle, cinnamon, and licorice that was created exclusively for this branch.
Hoping to attract a more diverse crowd, this new branch has created a wide selection of mocktails. Try Strawberry Walk (B140), a Red Apron tea-based drink with house-made strawberry syrup, organic longan honey and tonic, or Green Peace (B140), which blends Fujian tea with house-made peach syrup, mandarin orange and organic longan honey. But the mocktail that tops our list is Tropical Wanderlust (B140), a dark purple drink made with Tropical Wonderland tea, which combines sweet pea, pandan, coconut, bael, black sticky rice, and stevia. Coconut water and a few drops of honey are added to the cocktail to add a tropical fragrance and to balance out the tea’s earthy notes.
This branch carries more dessert than other branches. There are scones (B55) that come in flavors like butter, salted egg, cranberry, and bacon and cheddar cheese; financiers (B69) infused with rose tea or Earl Grey; and a light and fluffy Japanese-style mixed berry cheesecake (B140) served with tangy strawberry sauce (this one’s our favorite). Those who want to indulge in a more complete experience can order the afternoon tea set (B750), which comes with three kinds of tea and desserts of your choice.
Te Time and Space at Samyan Mitrtown also hosts regular workshops for those who want to learn more about tea. Follow them on Facebook for schedules and updates.
