Time Out says

Taro balls — the sweet, gummy, and slimy nuggets served in syrupy iced soup — are refreshing Taiwanese staples. To have a bite of these chewy treats, you either have to wait until your next holiday or go for the hassle-free option and head to QQ Dessert at CentralWorld. Here, everything is dedicated to the Taiwanese specialty — the taro balls are served alongside other toppings like grass jelly (they even offer delectable chrysanthemum option) and tofu pudding which is daily made from scratch. Our favorite is a simple-looking rice porridge made from red beans and black glutinous rice with the gummy taro balls swimming on top. What a serious nom-nom!
