Time Out says

A new destination combining gastronomy and entertainment in the heart of Ekkamai, OH CHIC is a social club and eatery that offer Italian-Asian fusion dishes along with nightly performances by deejays or live bands and rotating themed shows.

The main dining room and bar area combine copper walls, sleek furniture, and velvet fabric in an Orient-inspired chamber. Local artwork, like Sarawut Yasamut's abstract paintings, adorn the room, adding a sense of mystery to the subdued atmosphere. Diners can step out into the courtyard, an alfresco haven shaded by a banyan tree and wooden lattice screens.

OH CHIC’s menu was prepared by award-winning chef Pairoh Arunngam. Prior to being crowned Global Master Chef Shanghai and World Master Chef Taipei in 2018, Pairoh tried her hand at a couple of trattorias in Italy before becoming head chef at Nobu Restaurant in Hong Kong.

Kick off your meal with mouth-watering starters like the salmon salad, which includes a selection of seasonal vegetables topped with medium rare Norwegian salmon and spicy dressing (B240). The homemade pomodoro meatballs (B220) are another popular choice.

A wide range of hefty mains include pan-grilled chicken miso steak with tomatoes, sautéed beans and sliced radish (B320), and black squid ink pasta, served cold like zaru soba, with salmon sashimi and ponzu wasabi sauce (B240). The beef kebab, however, is the stand-out dish, marinated with coriander seeds, and doled out with whole baked garlic and sautéed French beans (B480).

An irresistible bowl of Thai tea creme brûlée (B140) is the best way to end the feast on a high note. But close to the stroke of midnight, desserts like espresso tiramisu (B140) help night owls stay awake.

Cocktails designed by Singaporean-born Pil Lee, who’s equipped with experience from Havana Social and now-defunct speakeasy The Library in Singapore, boost the fun. The low-ABV, Frangelico-based Granny Smith (B300) is a delicious tipple that reminds of a good ol’ apple crumble (but without the crumble). Also worth a try is the spicy Wasabi Amaretto (B300), and the gin and tonic, which has gin infused with Thai spices (B300).
