You probably come across a celebrity chef with a jolly persona and a cool walrus mustache. He's not anybody but the one-and-only Martin Blunos, a British chef who became England's culinary legend for his now-closed two-Michelin-starred Lettonie in Bristol and in Bath.
After he parted ways with his widely recognized restaurant in England, Chef Martin turned to the TV world with the appearance on popular cooking competition shows like Iron Chef UK and Master Chef Australia.
Back in 2017, the quirky chef came to Thailand and embarked on his new culinary venture at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok with Blunos, an eatery that aims to connect to Bangkokian foodies through "hearty fare and classic comfort food devoid of any pretentiousness."
Now, with the new dawn of 2021, Chef Martin has finally expanded his cooking talent via a new venue laden with his offbeat trademark and healthy food called "in the pink." Situated at the outdoor zone on the 14th floor of the hotel, in the pink is stylized as a breezy tropical-pink cafe that focuses on a line-up of health-centric fare.
Some of the highlights by Chef Martin include Egg & Fries (B220), a reimagined yogurt with Green Guava French Fries and Strawberry & Raspberry Ketchup; Rosey Rose (B190), Rosella & Gold Leaf Jelly with a Coconut and Vanilla Seed Milk and Crystallized Rosella Buds; and Twisted Strawberry (B190), a bowl of low-fat yogurt teeming with fruits and Monin strawberry puree, bio-organic honey almond and pasteurized milk.
