Time Out says

Panida “Poupee” Paethanom worked at the kitchens of fine-dining restaurants like Tables at Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Bangkok before she turned to the burger business a few years ago. Her first venture didn’t go as planned so she decided to leave the business to her partners and go on her own. Hence, Bad Burger was born.

“Bad because it has its own reason, just like those villains in movies,” Panida says, offering up an enigmatic explanation for her restaurant’s name. The food, however, is the exact opposite because Bad Burger actually churns out some of the city’s best burgers.

There is a wide selection of burgers on the menu—from cheeseburgers to bacon burgers—each one made with the finest meat, homemade sauce and pickles, and daily-made brioche buns. We recommend The Big Boss, a massive biter with chargrilled Australian beef seasoned only with salt and pepper (B399). Heavy eaters can add a quarter rack of succulent ribs to their burger set for an additional B150.

Surprisingly, the venue also has vegan options. Bad Burger pairs gluten-free buns with vegan cheese and mayonnaise created from a recipe Poupee and her brother invented.
