Having given Thai-produce wine an international upgrade by winning accolades overseas, Monsoon Valley Wines has now launched a new sparkling item, Monsoon Valley Brut Prestige Sparkling Wine, the latest bubble item joining the vineyard’s Signature series.
Made entirely from Colombard grapes grown at Monsoon Valley vineyard in Hua Hin, the popular resort town with the climate suitable to grow grapes used for wine production, Monsoon Valley Brut Prestige Sparkling has a golden yellow hue and boasts an intense fruity note of lemon, peach, cherry and stone fruit with balanced acidity. Time Out was invited to the launch event for the bubble at the tranquil Monsoon Valley vineyard in Hua Hin and we found that the sparkling wine that made it an outstanding aperitif and the right pairing with starters lightly-seasoned salad or seafood dishes.
Also in the series are the Signature Red which is the blend of Dornfelder, Rondo and Syrah grapes also grown at the Hua Hin vineyard and the Signature White also made from Colombard grapes.
