Ever dreamed of living a life like one of those crazy rich Asians? Your wish may just come true, thanks to this upcoming campaign by Airbnb.
The Pithak Chinpracha House, Phuket’s largest Sino-Portuguese mansion, is up for rent from 15 to 17 April. For two nights, you can stay in the 119-year-old house—which was used by past governors as their official residence and is now home to Blue Elephant restaurant and cooking school—and have a swanky Crazy Rich Asians-inspired experience. The project is a collaboration between Airbnb and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to promote the Songkran holidays.
The stately mansion will open to guests for the first time in over five decades. Airbnb users can book a stay in a two-bedroom suite, and enjoy special benefits such as a multi-course Songkran tasting menu by Blue Elephant’s Chef Nooror Somany Steppe, a scuba diving and snorkeling session, and a walking tour of Phuket’s only existing rainforest Khao Pra Taew Wildlife Sanctuary.
Here’s the catch: Only one booking is available! Both local and international Airbnb users can try to make a reservation. Applications for bookings will go live on 5 April at 08:00 (Thai local time) at the price of B1,700++ (for a maximum of four guests).
Mark your calendar and do whatever you can to book a one-of-a-kind experience at this iconic Phuket attraction.
