Traveling in Thailand is not that easy at the moment, we're not going to lie. The last time we updated the whole situation of tourist visa was quite frustrating for those who aspired after nice holidays here, mainly because the requirements were quite demanding and stringent for some. Things, however, seem to get more hopeful with the availability of vaccines and better management in many places, so let's be a little bit more patient.
In order to help you cope with the yearning for beautiful vacations here in Thailand, we have a new thing to do that would more or less relieve your itch. You can take a virtual reality tour through iconic destinations in four cities of Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani, and Phuket.
For instance, you can walk through Bangkok's old-aged royal residences uniquely designed according to each era of Siam. Meanwhile, if you're into Buddhist architectures, there are also ancient chapels and stupas in northern capital Chiang Mai and southern paradise Surat Thani. The other highlight is Phuket's hundred-year-old mansion Chinpracha House that is inspired by Sino-Portuguese architectural aesthetics.
Viewers can go through each attraction like a walking map but enhanced with a dollhouse view and a floor plan view to allow more detailed experience. The VR tours are also equipped with on-spot interactive descriptions available in Thai and English for insightful information about the place.
All VR tours in the four cities are available here. Click on it, and let's (virtually) escape to Thailand for a moment.
