Have you got your hippie costumes ready? This December, Wonderfruit will once again invade The Fields at Siam Country Club in Pattaya, after a three-year break due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

To get you more excited about the upcoming festival, Wonderfruit has revealed its initial program line-up. This year, Thailand’s equivalent of Coachella aims to explore the “intersections of art, culture, and human rituals” through five main programs, namely Ancient Forest, Meditative Soundscapes, Sonic Nature Immersion, WonderOK, and Human Body as Axis Mundi.

On the art front, Wonderfruit has invited international artists and studios to help create and design the wonderful structures for the festival, such as Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Navin Rawanchaikul’s StudiOK, Ab Rogers Design, and Boonserm Premthada.

It won’t be a true Wonderfruit experience without a line-up of talented musicians to rock the stage, and the 2022 version will see plenty, such as Soichi Terada, Kai Campos (Mount Kimbie), MSCTY Studio x Yumiko Morioka, Penguin Cafe, Anne Müller, H3F, Autta, TOM of ENGLAND, and many more.

Wonderfruit has also announced a new system for getting tickets this year—and it’s a bit complicated. To put it simply, the first phase of selling will go live on July 18 and will last for 72 hours. In this first round, ticket prices will start at B6,000 and will go up by B500 every 24 hours. If you miss the first round, Wonderfruit will open a second round later in July with tickets starting at B7,300 and the price going up every 24 hours.
