Who said outdoor cinemas had to be all plastic chairs and soggy popcorn? Skyline Film returns on January 24th - 26th, flipping the script on traditional movie-watching by setting up shop in open air on the 10th floor of SIAMSCAPE.
Now, we all love a chilled movie night, but let’s face it, sometimes theatres can feel a bit too private, a bit too serious. This outdoor cinema, however, comes with a laid-back vibe and just the right amount of privacy. Forget loudspeakers tearing your ear off—Skyline uses wireless headphones, which means you get crisp, clear sound filtered of background distractions. No need to worry about someone close by munching on a crunchy snack and ruining your enjoyment.
On this occasion Skyline presents a programme of six well-known movies that include sweet romances, tear-jerkers and belly-laugh comedies. The line-up comprises:
- The Princess Diaries - January 24 (6.30pm)
- The Pursuit of Happyness - January 24 (9.30pm)
- The Graduate (1967) - January 25 (6.30pm)
- Love & Other Drugs - January 25 (9.30pm)
- 10 Things I Hate About You - January 26 (6.30pm)
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days - January 26 (9.30pm)
There’s nothing like a good film to bring people closer together and couples in particular will love the romantic setting, which makes you want to put your phone down and just be in the moment.
