The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand is mandating all international passengers flying into Thailand to present medical certificates showing that they are not infected with the novel coronavirus or COVID-19, as well as medical insurance that covers the disease up to a minimum of USD100,000.

The announcement has inconvenienced many incoming travelers because, to get hold of a virus-free certification, one needs to get tested, which is nearly impossible given the lack of testing kits for COVID-19 in most countries.
