Charoenkrung's popular dim sum restaurant has found a new and larger space, and it’s only a five-minute walk from the original location. The new Tuang by Chef Yip is located in an open-space warehouse near Soi Charoenkrung 89, right opposite Wat Ratchasingkhon and just before Asiatique.

A larger space means more dining tables, a few more cooking stations, and parking spaces. Prices have been increased—a serving of dim sum is now around B60—but still very much affordable when compared to other dim sum offerings in the area and given the quality of food that you get here.

But those who are expecting a shorter queue or a quicker waiting time will have to manage their expectations. Tuang hasn’t fully settled into its new home and inconveniences have yet to be managed. Wait a little longer and give them some time. We’re sure it’ll get better.
