This new resort will offer comfortable stays in an actual train carriage

InterContinental will soon debut a new property in Khao Yai—the first internationally branded resort in the UNESCO-listed national park.

The hotel will take guests on a journey inspired by train travel during the era of King Rama V, and features 19 suites and villas “housed within repurposed heritage train cars” alongside 45 guestrooms.

InterContinental Khao Yai also hopes to highlight the bounty and gifts of nature through food and beverage outlets like farm-to-table restaurant Somying Kitchen and the French-inspired Papillon Bar.
