Tha Tien has just welcomed a new bar that’s annexed to the recently relocated Thai restaurant Nusara. Nuss Bar is the joint venture of prolific chef Thitid Tassanakhajohn and Bacardi Legacy Global Champion and two-time Diageo World Class Thailand winner Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn.
Nuss is dressed mostly in red, from the walls, to the velvet couches, to the sleek counter bar. At night, dim lighting comes on and you can spot the bar, sitting like a gleaming red beacon, from afar. Large glass windows allow tipplers to admire Wat Pho while sipping craft cocktails (start from B390)—undoubtedly, Nuss has one of the most spectacular views in old town Bangkok.
The bar menu focuses on classic cocktails, from Negroni to New York Sour, but Ronnaporn elevates flavors with the use of local ingredients, herbal infusions, and fine liquors.
