Two of Bangkok’s most popular riverside hotels are reopening after months of hiatus—Royal Orchid Sheraton on Nov 1 and The Peninsula Bangkok on Nov 8. Most of their restaurants are slated to reopen too. The Sheraton is pushing forward its riverside restaurants—Feasts, Giorgio's, and Riverside Grill—allowing diners to once again enjoy feasts by the river, and is thinking of revamping its Thai eatery Tharathong. (We also heard that the hotel is planning something for Loy Krathong.
The Peninsula will also start welcoming back guests and diners at its all-day restaurant River Cafe & Terrace. Unfortunately, its Chinese restaurant Mei Jiang will remain closed, although the hotel’s kitchen is churning out that delicious Hong Kong-style pork puffs the restaurant is known for.
