Uber’s departure has left Bangkok commuters in a love-hate (mostly hate) relationship with Grab, which has been posting sky-high fees ever since its main competition exited Southeast Asia. (And don’t get us talking about its cheating drivers.) But Grab’s monopoly on the ride-hailing biz is about to come to an end. Go-Jek, Indonesia’s biggest transport-booking app, is making an entrance before the end of the year under the name GET (supposedly a friendlier appellation). The company had its first rider recruitment in August.
